CrossFit Reincarnation will be closed Saturday, September 12, 2026. We’ll be at the ZSEC 5K at Great Basin College in Elko, and we’ll have a booth there too. Come see us!
September is Suicide Prevention Month. It’s an opportunity to talk openly about mental health, remember people who have died by suicide, support those affected by loss, and help people find support.
For us, this connects to something we’ve been talking about for years: caring for the person who walks through our doors.
Our goals might start with getting stronger, moving better, or having more energy. Along the way, we also want to build a place where people feel welcome, develop friendships, and know someone cares how they’re doing.
That matters inside the gym and throughout our community.

Taking that support into our community
This Saturday, we’re joining Zero Suicides Elko County for its 2026 Hope, Health & Healing 5K Walk & Run at Great Basin College. The event brings people together to remember loved ones and support suicide prevention locally. Event information and registration are available through ZSEC.
CrossFit Reincarnation will have a booth, and we’d love for you to stop by. Join us, bring someone with you, and take time to connect with the people and organizations supporting our neighbors.
Keeping the conversation going after September
We want our gym to be a place where you can say you’re having a hard day without feeling like you’ve let anyone down. You don’t have to earn care by being strong, upbeat, or consistent.
Supporting that kind of community means listening, checking in, and encouraging people to reach for help. Professional mental health care has an essential role, and a workout cannot replace it.
This month, make time for someone. Ask how they’re doing, leave room for an honest answer, and follow up.
We’ll see you Saturday at Great Basin College.
Need support? In the U.S., call or text 988, or chat with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Support is free, confidential, and available 24/7. You can also reach out if you’re worried about someone else.
