This week, I looked out at a class full of people in their 50s, 60s, and beyond.
And their squats were beautiful.
Knees tracking right.
Chest up.
Depth right where it should be.
The kind of movement most people assume disappears with age.
But it does not.
It just needs to be practiced, coached, and built over time.
And for those who are not there yet, we meet them exactly where they are.
We use a bench.
We shorten the range.
We slow things down.
Because progress is not about where you start.
It is about having a plan to move forward.
Why Squatting Matters More Than You Think
This is not about the gym.
This is about your life.
Squatting is how you:
Sit down and stand up safely
Get up off the ground
Pick things up without hurting your back
Play with your grandkids
Take care of your home
Stay independent
Lose that, and life gets smaller.
Build it, and life stays open.
You Do Not Need to Be Careful. You Need to Be Prepared.
A lot of people think the answer is to slow down.
To avoid things.
To be cautious.
To not push too much.
But what we see every day is this.
The people who keep their strength keep their freedom.
Not because they got lucky.
Because they trained for it.
This Is Not a Senior Class
